About Me

Dr. Lee is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples and families as they tackle the tasks of life. Along with 20 years experience working in a private practice, Dr. Lee has worked in academia, including teaching internationally, and in non-profit organizations.

She graduated from the Ohio State University with her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences where she completed her training as a Marriage and Family Therapist.  She received her Master's degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from the University of San Francisco. While on the west coast, Dr. Lee also spent a year studying Brief Strategic Therapy at the Mental Research Institute in Palo Alto with Dr. Richard Fisch.

Dr. Lee has taught at the undergraduate level at the Ohio State University and Wheelock College and at the graduate level as a Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut and Wheelock College's International Programs in Singapore and the Bahamas.

Dr. Lee also worked as the Director of Training at a large non-profit in Dallas where she oversaw the training of master's level counselors and social workers, doctoral level Psychology interns and Child Psychiatry Fellows.  

​

She has a passion for teaching and learning and has completed three of The Gottman Institute's trainings including The Bringing Baby Home curriculum and the first two levels of The Gottman Couples Therapy method.
